Environmental Product Declaration
EPDs bring more transparency and help carbon-conscious purchasing and decision making. An EPD shows a manufacturer's commitment to measure and reduce the environmental impact of its products and report these impacts in a very transparent way.
Registered EPDs are globally recognized, publicly available and free to download through EPD Libraries. Consult here our EPD on Environdec directly.

Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®
Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX is a third-party certification system for textile products at all stages of production which verifies whether the item has been tested for harmful substances. Beaulieu Fibres offers a range of fine PP fibres for use in the furniture and bedding industry, all of which are OEKO-TEX compliant.
Achieved level: OEKO-TEX® Product Class, Appendix 6, product class I (Baby).
Beaulieu Fibres International is granted authorisation according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® to use the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® mark for the PP staple fibres (based on specific high-performance ingredients).

ISO 45001:2018 health and safety management standard
ISO 45001 is an international standard for health and safety at work developed by national and international standards committees independent of government.
ISO 45001 is part of the B.I.G. SHE Ambition Plan, in which management systems lead to a further evolution of our safety culture from reactive (management is concerned with safety) to generative (everyone is concerned with safety). In this way, B.I.G. wants to be sure that all risks during daily activities are actually addressed and eliminated. We integrate this ISO45001 safety management system into the existing quality (ISO9001) and environmental (ISO14001) management system.

ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System
ISO 14001:2015 validates our ongoing commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our production activities. The certification confirms that our production plants have an adequate Environmental Management System to control the environmental impact and to continuously improve the environmental performance of our activities in a systematic, effective and sustainable way.

Beaulieu Fibres International has been awarded the prestigious FM Global “Highly Protected Risk” (HPR) status for its Wielsbeke production site. HPR is the highest status a plant can achieve for fire risk prevention and protection. The site Beaulieu Fibres International is the fourth in the Beaulieu International Group to reach HPR status. The status underlines Beaulieu’s commitment to risk prevention at B.I.G. sites and to reinforcing our strong business contingency plan.
